The Challenge has been made.....
Sister Hansen has issued a challenge for her lesson next month.
Choose any section of the scripture, any story and read it.
Then re-read it from the perspective of the character,
then re-read it from the perspective of all the other characters.
Then read it again and think about the culture, setting, and all
variable that pertain to that scripture story. You may need to
investigate into other resources, other books, bible dictionary, etc.
Then identify all the principles and write them down and bring
them back with you next month. She will use this activity as the
base for her lesson.

February "Thrifty Thursday"
a twist on Super Saturday.
Come and learn new skills. You will be able to learn to crochet the edge of a baby blanket, crochet a beenie hat, or crochet a fancy scarf. We will also be having a demo on T-shirt scarves, and rosette flowers you will be able to use anywhere.
Check to see what you will need to bring.
Taster table and nursery are provided.

December "Night of Giving" exchange
We have revised the activity for December.
We will be gathering together to have a "Night of Giving"
Bring an exchange item. It can be a "Service" gift for example (babysit for a night) an "IOU"( make a dozen rolls), a "Gift" (something to give) or a "Treat" gift ( plate of cinnamon rolls or cookies)
We will exchange them in a fun activity.
Also, if you have a great holiday treat, bring it and we will be having Wassail.
Plan on visiting and enjoying the holiday evening with everyone.
